Narrative:
Shortly after touchdown, struck deer on runway. Damaged aircraft engine. I was told that this is the second time this yr that one of our aircraft has hit a deer at this airport. Maybe they need higher fences around the airport.

Narrative: SHORTLY AFTER TOUCHDOWN, STRUCK DEER ON RWY. DAMAGED ACFT ENG. I WAS TOLD THAT THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS YR THAT ONE OF OUR ACFT HAS HIT A DEER AT THIS ARPT. MAYBE THEY NEED HIGHER FENCES AROUND THE ARPT.
