Narrative:

We exceeded crew duty limitation by 1 hour according to our company. This was not intentional in that we did not notice the error until the company told us on oct/aa/98. The flight and crew rest limitations should be written in a simpler manner as to aid pilots' comprehension and interpretation. The company has also started a fix-it comprehensive 2 hour ground school program that fully addresses FARS, flight and crew rest limitations.
