Narrative:
Altitude: descended below clearance limit of 9000 ft to approximately 8600 ft. The cause was simply inattentiveness. I had 7000 ft on my mind. First officer was doing ACARS approach data.

Narrative: ALT: DSNDED BELOW CLRNC LIMIT OF 9000 FT TO APPROX 8600 FT. THE CAUSE WAS SIMPLY INATTENTIVENESS. I HAD 7000 FT ON MY MIND. FO WAS DOING ACARS APCH DATA.
