Narrative:

A received a round trip dispatch for flight atl-mcn, flight mcn-vld, and vld-atl. After departing atl on the first leg, I realized that the last leg of the trip would require an alternate. The dispatch did not show one. I called flight control from vld to receive an amended release.

Title: AN EMB120 PIC DEPARTS ATL WITH A DISPATCH RELEASE THAT WAS INCORRECT. THE LAST LEG NEEDED AN ALTERNATE ARPT AND WAS NOT STIPULATED. CAPT CORRECTED THAT WITH DISPATCH PRIOR TO LEAVING THE LAST STATION ON RETURN TO ATL.
