Narrative:

Flight from blm to 40N via pne at 2800 ft. 10 mi west of pne, WX deteriorated rapidly. Descended to 1700 ft, made 180 degree turn. Could not get high enough to clear pne. Turned north to go around willow grove NAS and inadvertently entered their airspace, 2 mi west at 1700 ft. I proceeded northeast to clear their area, overcast lifted to the east, proceeded to blm at 2000 ft. During turn to clear WX, my map fell to floor. I did not have frequency to call for clearance.

Title: GA PLT ERRONEOUSLY ENTERS CLASS D AIRSPACE WITHOUT PROPER CLRNC WHILE TRYING TO AVOID IMC CONDITIONS AT WILLOW GROVE NAS.

Narrative: FLT FROM BLM TO 40N VIA PNE AT 2800 FT. 10 MI W OF PNE, WX DETERIORATED RAPIDLY. DSNDED TO 1700 FT, MADE 180 DEG TURN. COULD NOT GET HIGH ENOUGH TO CLR PNE. TURNED N TO GO AROUND WILLOW GROVE NAS AND INADVERTENTLY ENTERED THEIR AIRSPACE, 2 MI W AT 1700 FT. I PROCEEDED NE TO CLR THEIR AREA, OVCST LIFTED TO THE E, PROCEEDED TO BLM AT 2000 FT. DURING TURN TO CLR WX, MY MAP FELL TO FLOOR. I DID NOT HAVE FREQ TO CALL FOR CLRNC.
