A DC10 freighter flies towards the wrong waypoint after the first officer had placed the incorrect coordinates into the FMC. The PIC caught the error prior to that desired waypoint.

Narrative:
During preflight, I loaded the waypoint, soone, into the INS. I accidentally input N32 04.6 instead of N33 04.6. During the verification process, I did not catch the error. En route, the captain noticed we were off course while navigating to soone. It was then I discovered the error. We asked ATC if we could proceed to our next waypoint and proceeded there after being cleared.

Narrative: DURING PREFLT, I LOADED THE WAYPOINT, SOONE, INTO THE INS. I ACCIDENTALLY INPUT N32 04.6 INSTEAD OF N33 04.6. DURING THE VERIFICATION PROCESS, I DID NOT CATCH THE ERROR. ENRTE, THE CAPT NOTICED WE WERE OFF COURSE WHILE NAVING TO SOONE. IT WAS THEN I DISCOVERED THE ERROR. WE ASKED ATC IF WE COULD PROCEED TO OUR NEXT WAYPOINT AND PROCEEDED THERE AFTER BEING CLRED.
