Narrative:

Passenger boarded aircraft and expected cabin crew to lift his bag into the overhead bin for him. He said he was a chemo patient and his doctor told him to demand this assistance. I told him I could not do it for him. He started yelling at me and causing a scene. He then asked to speak to the captain, I directed him to the cockpit and he told them his situation. The first officer was going to come out and put his bag away for him but passenger kept yelling at me, saying I was mean and nasty, but the cockpit was nice and helpful. He was yelling at me so loudly the #1 flight attendant came over and tried to calm him down and asked him to lower his voice, all of first class was staring and he was causing a scene. He then started yelling at the #1 flight attendant and the captain told the first officer to situation down, then said to the passenger that he could check his luggage. He then said something to the captain and the passenger said he was going to step off and talk to the agent. He did, and the agent came down and put his bag away for him. I think passenger's should be told we are not sky-caps, we do not put passenger's bags away for them. We will help them find room, but if they can't handle their own carry-on luggage, then it should be checked. Doctors should advise passenger of this and not tell them to ask flight attendants to put away bags for them.
