Narrative:

Immediately before touchdown there was static (feedback) in my headset which I misinterpreted as the landing gear warning horn. I attempted to recycle the gear, but touched down before it could be extended again, resulting in a gear up landing. Following the tower's last transmission on the radio there was again static (feedback).

Title: PVT PLT OF AN SEL SMA LANDED GEAR UP WHEN HE MISTAKENLY RECYCLED THE LNDG GEAR PRIOR TO TOUCH DOWN SINCE HE MISINTERPRETED THE STATIC IN THE HEADSET FOR THE GEAR WARNING HORN.

Narrative: IMMEDIATELY BEFORE TOUCHDOWN THERE WAS STATIC (FEEDBACK) IN MY HEADSET WHICH I MISINTERPRETED AS THE LNDG GEAR WARNING HORN. I ATTEMPTED TO RECYCLE THE GEAR, BUT TOUCHED DOWN BEFORE IT COULD BE EXTENDED AGAIN, RESULTING IN A GEAR UP LNDG. FOLLOWING THE TWR'S LAST XMISSION ON THE RADIO THERE WAS AGAIN STATIC (FEEDBACK).
