Narrative:
After giving gear pins to fleet service clerk from maintenance ready room, I wasn't aware of a logbook entry requirement unless the pins were removed from aircraft. So, since I didn't make the logbook entry, I have reviewed the general procedures manual and am aware of the required entry in the book. In the future, I will make logbook entry every time the gear are pinned.

Narrative: AFTER GIVING GEAR PINS TO FLEET SVC CLERK FROM MAINT READY ROOM, I WASN'T AWARE OF A LOGBOOK ENTRY REQUIREMENT UNLESS THE PINS WERE REMOVED FROM ACFT. SO, SINCE I DIDN'T MAKE THE LOGBOOK ENTRY, I HAVE REVIEWED THE GENERAL PROCS MANUAL AND AM AWARE OF THE REQUIRED ENTRY IN THE BOOK. IN THE FUTURE, I WILL MAKE LOGBOOK ENTRY EVERY TIME THE GEAR ARE PINNED.
