Narrative:

Landing at brownsville, tx, at night after control tower is closed. Turn off runway at end onto parallel taxiway east to proceed to terminal. Found taxiway barricaded. Taxiway is too narrow to complete a 180 degree turn. Use of reverse thrust is prohibited by company flight manual. Company operations at this airport does not have a tug or a tow bar for this aircraft type. No NOTAMS in company dispatch paperwork indicating taxiway closure. Valley approach which worked our arrival had this information but did not mention it during our arrival. Tower is closed and it is now XA30. Had operations get airport authority/authorized out of bed to remove barricades and authority/authorized use of taxiway to terminal. Taxiway was closed due to construction of a drainage ditch over which new concrete had been poured a week earlier but had not been strength tested after curing. Design strength was 177000 pounds and we weighed 98000 pounds. Airport authority/authorized authorized use and we taxied to terminal without further incident. Suggest company include all NOTAMS on release paperwork and position tug and tow bar for this type aircraft at this station.
