Narrative:
I was to be towed into my gate when it opened up after an outbound aircraft cleared. There was to be a long delay so I shut down an engine. The gate was changed to gate xy at lax and I taxied to gate. As I turned from the inner taxiway toward gate, a vehicle drove in front of me and I had to stop. The aircraft wouldn't move on one engine so I started the other engine and had to use breakaway thrust on both engines to get to gate. I heard on the ground control frequency that I blew a bag container off a cart into a car. I don't think anyone was hurt. I have not heard from anyone with any more information than I heard on the radio.
