Corrective action and standardization policies/techniques were employed and no incident or accident occurred. Chain of events was broken by rejecting takeoff. Narrative: ABORTED/REJECTED TKOF DUE TO EICAS MESSAGE 'R ENG ECU FAIL.' RETURNED TO GATE FOR MAINT. CORRECTIVE ACTION AND STANDARDIZATION POLICIES/TECHNIQUES WERE EMPLOYED AND NO INCIDENT OR ACCIDENT OCCURRED. CHAIN OF EVENTS WAS BROKEN BY REJECTING TKOF.
