Narrative:

Runway 17R departure. On takeoff from dfw the aircraft experienced vibration from the #2 engine. This was followed by compressor stall and loss of EPR and N1 indications. We accomplished the precautionary shutdown checklist, advised ATC. Dumped fuel down to maximum landing weight. We completed all appropriate checklists and made a 2 engine landing back into dfw.
