Narrative:

Climbing through FL330, we experienced 2 large compressor stalls on right engine. Started retarding throttle with second one. When throttle about 1/2 way back, experienced a series of small choo-choo type stalls. When throttle at idle, engine ran ok within parameters, except was about 80 degrees egt hotter than left engine. Closed other throttle, declared an emergency and asked for vectors to dca. Landed dca using left engine only and shut down engine after turning off runway.
