Narrative:

ATIS landing runway 4R and runway 9R with lahso. We advised approach that we were unable to lahso. We were then vectored for landing on runway 9R. Upon calling tower at deana, we were told that we were cleared to land to hold short of taxiway south. We advised tower that we were unable. This is another situation where approach did not communicate our request to tower. It seems that when you arrive at ord these days, you have to think 'ok, what will they try to do to me today?'
