Narrative:
During a visual approach to runway 17L at den, we encountered a windshear from a quartering right crosswind to a tailwind during the last 1500 ft of the approach with myself as the PF. Also at the same time we lost communications with both VHF communications inoperative for a brief period. We regained the HF transmitter during the go around and used it through the second visual to runway 26, where we went around again due to a 30+ KT crosswind and windshear event. Finally with still adequate fuel reserves we returned to den and made a visual to runway 35R into the wind. We landed safely, much to the relief of all onboard and sought maintenance on the #2 VHF communication. ATC was a great help in getting us safely into den and there was no special request for a report on the lost communication situation.
