Narrative:
A lightning strike to the nose of the aircraft caused both generators to drop off line and all EFIS screens to go black, communication #2 went out and ATC lost us for approximately 1 1/2 mins on radar, we were IMC at the time, we managed to descend to VFR and complete a successful landing at lax. No injuries were occurred by either crew or passenger.

Title: FLC OF AN ACR TURBOPROP RECEIVED A LIGHTNING STRIKE DURING ARR DSCNT CAUSING ELECTRICAL GENERATING SYS TO FALL OFF LINE WHICH RESULTED IN ALL EFIS SCREENS GOING BLACK. IN ADDITION, THE #2 COM WENT OUT AND ATC LOST RPTR'S ACFT ON RADAR FOR ONE AND ONE HALF MINS.
