Narrative:

On departure today from gck, there was a metroliner just clearing runway 35 after completing the ILS, an airport ground truck checking runways/txwys, myself (C208) as well as an aircraft inbound on the ILS. ZKC cleared me from gck to ict via runway heading initially 7000 ft and squawk code and void in only 1 min. As I was rolling into position on runway 35 the airport truck reported he was going to check runway 30/12, an intersecting runway approximately 1500 ft from the beginning of runway 35. I reported departing runway 35, knowing I -- an aircraft, should have the right-of- way over ground vehicles. Shortly after contacting ZKC and receiving new clearance of direct ddc then ict I overheard on either ATC frequency or CTAF (not sure as monitoring both) what I believe was my call sign and something about 'runway...' tomorrow I will contact airport authority/authorized to see why the airport truck has to check runways/txwys so frequently as it is causing an undue traffic congestion with other inbound aircraft traffic. Communications are extremely important at uncontrolled airports and due to frequency congestion and traffic it was not 100% clear nor safe due to the airport ground vehicle.
