Narrative:
Aircraft was cleared to taxi to runway 7R via taxiway C by myself. He taxied onto runway 7R, obviously confusing the runway for a taxiway. I feel the poor signage here at dvt is a big part of the problem.

Title: CTLR RPT REGARDING A TAXIING ACFT WHICH TAXIED ONTO THE RWY WHEN CLRNC WAS TO THE RWY. CTLR BELIEVES THE SIGNAGE IS POOR.
Narrative: ACFT WAS CLRED TO TAXI TO RWY 7R VIA TXWY C BY MYSELF. HE TAXIED ONTO RWY 7R, OBVIOUSLY CONFUSING THE RWY FOR A TXWY. I FEEL THE POOR SIGNAGE HERE AT DVT IS A BIG PART OF THE PROB.
