Narrative:

On approach into iah for the ILS runway 26, after tuning and identing the outer marker and ILS, we began shooting the approach with all indications normal. Approach control advised us we were 800 ft and 9 mi from the field, we initiated a missed approach and assumed our navigation equipment was unreliable. At that point we asked iah approach control for vectors to a surveillance approach. Houston vectored us for a surveillance approach to runway 14L and we landed uneventfully.
