Narrative:

A male passenger required medical assistance in-flight. 2 passenger (emt's) assisted our flight attendants to care for the ill passenger. Contact was made with center to expedite our routing direct to reno. Flight attendants contacted medical personnel on the phone for assistance. Dispatch was contacted to arrange medical assistance. Reno approach waived 250 KTS/below 10000 ft to the airport. Passenger was later announced dead by emt's who met the flight.

Narrative: A MALE PAX REQUIRED MEDICAL ASSISTANCE INFLT. 2 PAX (EMT'S) ASSISTED OUR FLT ATTENDANTS TO CARE FOR THE ILL PAX. CONTACT WAS MADE WITH CTR TO EXPEDITE OUR ROUTING DIRECT TO RENO. FLT ATTENDANTS CONTACTED MEDICAL PERSONNEL ON THE PHONE FOR ASSISTANCE. DISPATCH WAS CONTACTED TO ARRANGE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE. RENO APCH WAIVED 250 KTS/BELOW 10000 FT TO THE ARPT. PAX WAS LATER ANNOUNCED DEAD BY EMT'S WHO MET THE FLT.
