Narrative:

Early in the morning my first officer mentioned his upset stomach but after a 3 hour break on the ground he said he felt well and ready to fly. While on taxi out at about XA15 pm first officer stated he wasn't well and vomited into a sick bag. I decided to return to the gate and had to declare a medical emergency to get ground control's attention as the frequency was very busy. Soon thereafter I was able to cancel the medical emergency and we returned to the gate and disembarked.
