Narrative:

While looking for traffic landing on the right runway (we were cleared to land on left runway from a right bank turn) I overshot the final causing concern to the controller. Somehow I focused on the other set of parallel runways on the south side of the airport. How I got such tunnel vision I don't know. But if I had been looking at my flight instrument I would have seen I was going through final.
