Narrative:

Flight was issued descent clearance of 14 DME sax at 7000 ft. Descent was begun, center was advised that flight would be late arriving at 7000 ft. ATC advised to continue to 7000 ft and it was in someone else's airspace. There were no TCASII conflicts and descent was normal. Problem was caused by high cockpit workload due to other radio and communication with cabin crew by intercom. Recommend increased attention to cockpit workload and adherence to ATC instructions.
