Narrative:

After takeoff and gear selected up, the left and right main gear red lights appeared. Noticed both hydraulic pumps indicated zero. Declared emergency. Followed QRH, put gear handle down. Left and right main green lights illuminated. Followed QRH and pumped nose gear down until green light. Landed without incident, stopped on runway, got people off the aircraft safely, also without incident. After the aircraft was secure the fire chief came on board and said to activate the engine fire bottle on the left engine, there was a fire (did not say the location of fire on engine). Fire extinguished, no damage, no further incident. However during entry into aircraft logbook, forgot to put fire bottle activated. Told maintenance control that I did. Said ok and noted.
