Narrative:
A B737 was issued an ILS to runway 35R and to maintain 170 KTS to the OM. 5 mi prior to the OM the B737 was asked if he was maintaining assigned speed. He reported no. He slowed down. The B737 was pulled off approach or separation would have been lost. This is a recurring problem with this airline.

Title: RPTR ALLEGES AN ACR B737 REDUCED SPD PRIOR TO OM AFTER BEING INSTRUCTED TO MAINTAIN 170 KTS TO THE OM. ACFT WAS TAKEN OFF THE FINAL TO AVOID A LOSS OF SEPARATION WITH IN TRAIL TFC.
Narrative: A B737 WAS ISSUED AN ILS TO RWY 35R AND TO MAINTAIN 170 KTS TO THE OM. 5 MI PRIOR TO THE OM THE B737 WAS ASKED IF HE WAS MAINTAINING ASSIGNED SPD. HE RPTED NO. HE SLOWED DOWN. THE B737 WAS PULLED OFF APCH OR SEPARATION WOULD HAVE BEEN LOST. THIS IS A RECURRING PROB WITH THIS AIRLINE.
