Narrative:

Hydraulic quantity dropped to .58 en route and steady. Briefed hydraulic quantity loss and system pressure loss checklist prior to arrival. On gear extension fluid level dropped to .30 and decreasing. Declared emergency with oak tower and had crash fire rescue equipment equipment standing by at end of runway 11. Normal gear extension and flap extension, however, backed up gear with alternate system checklist. Fire trucks advised smoke on gear clearing runway, after consult taxied slowly to gate position using normal nosewheel steering and left brake only as fluid leak was on right main truck. Kept in constant communication with crash fire rescue equipment equipment to ramp position and deplaned passenger and cargo normally. Entered in log. All checklists and procedures accomplished. Passenger advised by PA, no other problems occurred. This was a charter flight.

DECLARED EMER WITH OAK TWR AND HAD CFR EQUIP STANDING BY AT END OF RWY 11. NORMAL GEAR EXTENSION AND FLAP EXTENSION, HOWEVER, BACKED UP GEAR WITH ALTERNATE SYS CHKLIST. FIRE TRUCKS ADVISED SMOKE ON GEAR CLRING RWY, AFTER CONSULT TAXIED SLOWLY TO GATE POS USING NORMAL NOSEWHEEL STEERING AND L BRAKE ONLY AS FLUID LEAK WAS ON R MAIN TRUCK. KEPT IN CONSTANT COM WITH CFR EQUIP TO RAMP POS AND DEPLANED PAX AND CARGO NORMALLY. ENTERED IN LOG. ALL CHKLISTS AND PROCS ACCOMPLISHED. PAX ADVISED BY PA, NO OTHER PROBS OCCURRED. THIS WAS A CHARTER FLT.
