Narrative:

We were cleared for takeoff from runway 25 in denver (dia). The tower cleared us for takeoff, fly runway heading before we arrived at the end of the taxi. We departed and flew about 3-5 mi, the tower asked us to say heading, we did and the controller asked us to repeat it, we did. He then informed us that the heading for runway 25 is 260 degrees. He then sent us over to departure. While we were taxiing to runway 25 at dia, the tower cleared us for takeoff and fly runway heading. So I set my heading bug on 250 degrees not really taking the 260 degree actual heading into consideration. Maybe if the tower were to say exactly what heading to fly these little things wouldn't really be a factor.

Title: FLC OF A DO328, AFTER DEP ON RWY 25, AND MAINTAINING RWY HEADING WERE INFORMED BY TWR THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE USED 260 DEGS FOR A HEADING RATHER THAN 250 DEGS. SINCE THE RPTR HAD NO ADVANCED INFO REGARDING THE SPECIFIED HEADING, HE BELIEVES WHEN TAKING OFF FROM RWY 25 THAT THE ATC SHOULD SPECIFY 260 DEGS INSTEAD OF RWY HEADING.

Narrative: WE WERE CLRED FOR TKOF FROM RWY 25 IN DENVER (DIA). THE TWR CLRED US FOR TKOF, FLY RWY HEADING BEFORE WE ARRIVED AT THE END OF THE TAXI. WE DEPARTED AND FLEW ABOUT 3-5 MI, THE TWR ASKED US TO SAY HEADING, WE DID AND THE CTLR ASKED US TO REPEAT IT, WE DID. HE THEN INFORMED US THAT THE HEADING FOR RWY 25 IS 260 DEGS. HE THEN SENT US OVER TO DEP. WHILE WE WERE TAXIING TO RWY 25 AT DIA, THE TWR CLRED US FOR TKOF AND FLY RWY HEADING. SO I SET MY HEADING BUG ON 250 DEGS NOT REALLY TAKING THE 260 DEG ACTUAL HEADING INTO CONSIDERATION. MAYBE IF THE TWR WERE TO SAY EXACTLY WHAT HEADING TO FLY THESE LITTLE THINGS WOULDN'T REALLY BE A FACTOR.
