Narrative:

I was PF. On final approach, atlanta approach controller handed us off to tower for landing clearance. I assumed captain did and got landing clearance. I was distracted by the fact I was new in aircraft and approach was made with no GS or VASI information. I was also distracted by my headset which I had problems with and assumed landing clearance was received. Also, it was early in morning and I was a little fatigued. In the future I will not assume anything and make the landing clearance part of the before landing checklist. Also, we spoke to the controller after landing and he said that there was no problem caused by us failing to switch to tower and get landing clearance.
