Narrative:

After a normal touchdown and during rollout the nosewheel collapsed, the aircraft started pulling to the left at which time I applied right brake, this slowed the turn down. Our speed at this time would have been about 40 KTS or less. Just prior to going off the runway the left gear began to retract and had marks on the wheel cover and on the outside of the gear door, the right gear retracted in the soft ground with no marks on the outside of the wheel or gear door. Gear lights were green over the power lines prior to touchdown. All corrective action was taken in our opinion. Aircraft was prevented from veering off sharply to the left by opposite braking.

Title: THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED ON A PIPER PA44, SEMINOLE DURING LNDG ROLL RESULTING IN THE PLT LOSING DIRECTIONAL CTL OF THE ACFT AND RUNNING OFF THE SIDE OF THE RWY. THE MAIN GEARS ALSO BOTH COLLAPSED WHEN THE ACFT WENT OFF THE SIDE OF THE RWY. PLT STATES THAT HE OBSERVED 3 GREEN GEAR DOWN INDICATOR LIGHTS JUST PRIOR TO LNDG.
