Narrative:

During climb out while being vectored pgh approach asked us to give the best climb rate we could to 13000 ft, the altitude he cleared us to. I gave him the climb rate 6000 FPM (that is the limit where the vsi was pegged at) and we were handed off to center (ZOB) and also cleared to ewc VOR. Getting close to the assigned altitude by pit approach, I was afraid I was going to overshoot the assigned altitude because of the climb rate 6000 FPM and I pushed the nose over and lost a few hundred ft in climb and had to again climb to leveloff at 13000 ft. I was fearing the overshoot because of high rate of climb. I haven't had much experience with climbing at such a high rate.

GETTING CLOSE TO THE ASSIGNED ALT BY PIT APCH, I WAS AFRAID I WAS GOING TO OVERSHOOT THE ASSIGNED ALT BECAUSE OF THE CLB RATE 6000 FPM AND I PUSHED THE NOSE OVER AND LOST A FEW HUNDRED FT IN CLB AND HAD TO AGAIN CLB TO LEVELOFF AT 13000 FT. I WAS FEARING THE OVERSHOOT BECAUSE OF HIGH RATE OF CLB. I HAVEN'T HAD MUCH EXPERIENCE WITH CLBING AT SUCH A HIGH RATE.
