Narrative:

Flight path is over a high school football stadium, where a fireworks display began about the same time we were approaching. Several of the air bursts came up into our altitude and off the right side away from aircraft. Asked the tower if they were aware of the fireworks, they replied no. We landed without incident. Solution: either ban fireworks display or have school give notice to FAA of plan. Had we known about the fireworks another runway could have been used.
