Narrative:

Departed sql on runway 30, executed a right downwind departure VFR bound for sns. Climb to 2000 ft MSL before leveling off initially thinking that was the base of class B airspace, although the chart laying on the copilot seat said 1500 ft MSL for that area. I contacted bay departure on 135.65 and was informed I clipped the class B airspace. By that time I was in the 2500 ft sector.

Narrative: DEPARTED SQL ON RWY 30, EXECUTED A R DOWNWIND DEP VFR BOUND FOR SNS.
