Narrative:

On a delivery flight from 4MY to st george, ut, the propeller separated from the aircraft. The bolts that hold the hub to the crankshaft sheared. A forced landing ensued. There were no injuries or damage to the airplane from the forced landing. After the incident, it was discovered that the airworthiness and registration certificates were not in the aircraft.

Title: PLT OF AN SMA SEL MADE AN OFF ARPT EMER LNDG AFTER THE PROP SEPARATED FROM THE ACFT DURING CRUISE. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO THE ACFT DURING THE SUBSEQUENT LNDG. IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE PROP ATTACHMENT BOLTS HAD SHEARED CAUSING THE PROP TO FALL OFF THE ACFT. THERE WERE NO REGISTRATION OR AIRWORTHINESS CERTIFICATES FOUND ABOARD THE ACFT.
