Narrative:

My concern after we had egressed the aircraft, we had a customs officer come out and inspect our inbound documents and papers. I then had the standard phone conversation with the tower personnel and also a phone call from the local FAA. The representative said he would be out in another day or so to check over the aircraft. We had gone through several foreign countries and had entered and exited for fueling and/or overnight crew rest. Because of all of our many stops, had just placed the aircraft registration papers in a brief case along with our accumulated customs/immigration declarations materials and forms. When we had left the aircraft in fpr to catch an airline flight out of palm beach, fl, I did not think to put the aircraft's airworthiness certificate, aircraft registration, radio ship/station license, and current weight balance forms back into the aircraft. The forms holder had worked its way loose from the back hat rack bulk head of the aircraft and would be just laying amongst our assorted baggage. So to not lose it for our different customs/immigration stops, just kept the above aircraft documents in an envelope in a brief case as I've previously outlined. I will make arrangements to overnight fedex these documents, as they are required to be displayed inside the aircraft to fulfill the arrow.

Title: C310 PLT HAD NOSE GEAR COLLAPSE DURING LNDG. BECAUSE OF A BROKEN HOLDER, HE CARRIED THE ACFT PAPERS, REGISTRATION AND AIRWORTHINESS IN HIS BRIEFCASE. IN HASTE TO CATCH AN AIRLINE HE FORGOT TO LEAVE THE PAPERS IN THE ACFT TO BE SEEN BY FAA PERSONNEL WHO WERE TO EXAMINE HIS AIRPLANE.

Narrative: MY CONCERN AFTER WE HAD EGRESSED THE ACFT, WE HAD A CUSTOMS OFFICER COME OUT AND INSPECT OUR INBOUND DOCUMENTS AND PAPERS. I THEN HAD THE STANDARD PHONE CONVERSATION WITH THE TWR PERSONNEL AND ALSO A PHONE CALL FROM THE LCL FAA. THE REPRESENTATIVE SAID HE WOULD BE OUT IN ANOTHER DAY OR SO TO CHK OVER THE ACFT. WE HAD GONE THROUGH SEVERAL FOREIGN COUNTRIES AND HAD ENTERED AND EXITED FOR FUELING AND/OR OVERNIGHT CREW REST. BECAUSE OF ALL OF OUR MANY STOPS, HAD JUST PLACED THE ACFT REGISTRATION PAPERS IN A BRIEF CASE ALONG WITH OUR ACCUMULATED CUSTOMS/IMMIGRATION DECLARATIONS MATERIALS AND FORMS. WHEN WE HAD LEFT THE ACFT IN FPR TO CATCH AN AIRLINE FLT OUT OF PALM BEACH, FL, I DID NOT THINK TO PUT THE ACFT'S AIRWORTHINESS CERTIFICATE, ACFT REGISTRATION, RADIO SHIP/STATION LICENSE, AND CURRENT WT BAL FORMS BACK INTO THE ACFT. THE FORMS HOLDER HAD WORKED ITS WAY LOOSE FROM THE BACK HAT RACK BULK HEAD OF THE ACFT AND WOULD BE JUST LAYING AMONGST OUR ASSORTED BAGGAGE. SO TO NOT LOSE IT FOR OUR DIFFERENT CUSTOMS/IMMIGRATION STOPS, JUST KEPT THE ABOVE ACFT DOCUMENTS IN AN ENVELOPE IN A BRIEF CASE AS I'VE PREVIOUSLY OUTLINED. I WILL MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO OVERNIGHT FEDEX THESE DOCUMENTS, AS THEY ARE REQUIRED TO BE DISPLAYED INSIDE THE ACFT TO FULFILL THE ARROW.
