Narrative:

Upon check-in with sea approach, instructed to 'cross jawbin intersection at 12000 ft descend and maintain 7000 ft.' captain started descent from 12000 ft too early. I said we were told to cross jawbin at 12000 ft then 7000 ft. He said he was sure he heard cross at 10000 ft then 7000 ft. By this time we are descending through 11500 ft and ATC repeats 'that was jawbin at 12000 ft then 7000 ft.' if I would have confirmed the clearance as soon as the captain started the descent this could have been avoided. I should have listened to that little voice and immediately confirmed with ATC.
