Narrative:

On aug/xx/97, I was assigned seat assembly change on aircraft. Breakdown in communication occurred between my partner and myself on removal and installation of the seat assembly, consequently causing aircraft to fly illegally without oxygen generators installed in 2 seats and oxygen generators to be shipped in cargo hold with seat assembly. Breakdown in communication occurred when I took for granted that my partner had read paperwork and he assumed I did.
