Narrative:

While approaching hooper bay, ak, I obtained the current AWOS information. The ceiling was reported as 400 ft overcast with visibility 7 SM. I continued inbound and made an uneventful landing. At no time did I descend below 600 ft, until short final. I have submitted 2 safety reports at the same time, for flts on consecutive days. I feel there is a problem with the hpb AWOS and using my discretion, I have continued with both flts even though the AWOS reported conditions below the minimums set forth under part 135 for VFR operations.
