Narrative:

ZFW. Copilot flying with clearance to cross 50 mi west of bowie at FL240. During descent, captain pointed to FMC calling for drag as he was doing change over. Captain got distraction as ACARS requested miscellaneous 52. Copilot late using drag. The frequency was clobbered and we crossed at FL248 vice FL240. No comments from ATC and no aircraft on TCASII near our position. Captain should have been more direct in pointing out the need for drag.
