Narrative:

Clearance issued us a 270 degree heading after departure. Approximately 30 mins passed before we were airborne. My first officer had forgot our original heading. When I asked him again about our clearance, he said it was runway heading. Just after departure we were questioned about our heading and we told departure we were runway heading. It was not until sometime later that my first officer realized we were given a 270 degree heading after departure.
