Narrative:

Mar/xa/97 I was assigned to change 2 A320 nose tires. I pulled 2 svcable tires from our in-service tire pool rack. I pulled up the maintenance manual documents for removal and installation of A320 nose tires. I proceeded to and changed these 2 nose tires per this maintenance manual. After installation, I signed off the write-up documents in the computer. These nose tires were assembled by a tire shop mechanic and he or she has signed for the installation of the correct bearings in the unit. The A320 nose tire bearing seal covers up the bearings. The A320 maintenance manual 'does not' state in its text, to disassemble the wheel bearing seals to check these numbers.
