Narrative:

The ASR-9 radar at mci is sent mkc ATCT via phone line. The ASR-9 WX cannot be sent to mkc ATCT because the FAA says the cost of the phone line is too much. Mci controls the WX display at mkc. When the WX is changing the sic/controller in charge does not have the time to call on the phone to tell mkc what they are seeing. Mkc is then giving the wrong WX to the pilots. Someone is going to get hurt and the NTSB will blame the controllers at mkc and mci. We have asked for the WX to be controled at mkc for over 3 yrs and have always been told it cost too much.
