Narrative:
We were descending into pbi in heavy rain and deviating with ZMA clearance when I switched to pbi approach control. (I must have copied clearance of another aircraft.) pbi approach control told me to go back to ZMA and I did. ZMA told me he had to turn another airplane to avoid us.
