Narrative:

After leveling off at 10000 ft, the autoplt started a climb, which I counteracted, and then a descent. We couldn't stop the descent until the autoplt circuit breaker was pulled. We advised azo approach about our altitude change (9400 ft MSL) and they then cleared us down to 4000 ft. We contacted approach after landing and they advised us there was no loss of separation between aircraft and no further problems occurred.
