Narrative:

I was flying the approach to runway 28 when we noticed the nosegear green down and locked light was not illuminated with the gear handle down. The captain replaced the lights while I remained in the pattern. No help. We went through our procedure and verified the gear was down using the nosegear peep hole. We elected to land on the longer runway 22. The landing was normal. Sometime at the gate the nosegear light illuminated. I visually inspected the nosegear -- all looked normal.
