Narrative:

Left aft entry door EICAS message and light. Flight attendant found retainer strap closed in door, handle would not reseat. Diverted to dfw (scheduled for mem-las). Cabin pressure was normal, but when reduced for arrival, door came ajar on short final to dfw. Declared emergency and landed uneventfully. No damage or injuries. Continued on to las after maintenance signed off log.

Narrative: L AFT ENTRY DOOR EICAS MESSAGE AND LIGHT. FLT ATTENDANT FOUND RETAINER STRAP CLOSED IN DOOR, HANDLE WOULD NOT RESEAT. DIVERTED TO DFW (SCHEDULED FOR MEM-LAS). CABIN PRESSURE WAS NORMAL, BUT WHEN REDUCED FOR ARR, DOOR CAME AJAR ON SHORT FINAL TO DFW. DECLARED EMER AND LANDED UNEVENTFULLY. NO DAMAGE OR INJURIES. CONTINUED ON TO LAS AFTER MAINT SIGNED OFF LOG.
