Narrative:

On approach control leaving 9000 ft for 6000 ft on the bna 320 degrees right at 38 DME in moderate rain, received a 'too low terrain' on GPWS. I responded per procedure and climbed to 13000 ft. We later called approach control to see if our climb had caused any traffic conflicts it did not.

Title: FLC OF AN FK10 CLBED IN RESPONSE TO A GPWS WARNING DURING A STAR DSCNT. BASED ON THE TERRAIN ELEVATION BELOW THE DSCNT THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN NO WARNING UNLESS THERE WAS AN UNUSUALLY HIGH DSCNT RATE.
