Narrative:

On approach from south expecting runway 17L we were given a turn and descent to intercept runway 35R. Raw data computation indicated we were high (altitude/mi) but we captured both localizer and GS. At marker raw data still indicated high and captain elected to go around. Asked our intentions and told to level at 4000 ft. We asked for same approach and were already through 4000 ft and began the leveloff somewhat above. Queried by approach to verify altitude, we replied and continued the descent to 4000 ft. No further inquiries or events.
