Narrative:

Felt like a blown tire on rotation. In climb out, #2 generator lost, checked and #2 engine temperature in yellow band. Reduced power, felt vibration and shut down engine. Landed at mem due to better WX, facilities. Declared emergency for approach and landing. No further problems. After shutdown, #2 tail pipe had some damage noted.

Narrative: FELT LIKE A BLOWN TIRE ON ROTATION. IN CLBOUT, #2 GENERATOR LOST, CHKED AND #2 ENG TEMP IN YELLOW BAND. REDUCED PWR, FELT VIBRATION AND SHUT DOWN ENG. LANDED AT MEM DUE TO BETTER WX, FACILITIES. DECLARED EMER FOR APCH AND LNDG. NO FURTHER PROBS. AFTER SHUTDOWN, #2 TAIL PIPE HAD SOME DAMAGE NOTED.
