Narrative:

Flight from sjc to apc, in contact with bay departure. Controller warned me I was getting close to bravo airspace, suggested I turn north. I was at about 2800 ft and did not realize it was my altitude that would get me into class B airspace. Was experiencing moderate turbulence at the time and got pushed above 3000 ft MSL. The controller advised we had entered class bravo airspace and that we were now cleared into class bravo airspace. I apologized for entering and thanked him for his help. One contributing factor was the moderate turbulence. One other contributing factor was the lack of preparation in reviewing (thoroughly) the san francisco class B chart.
